Midwestfights.com provides effective and honest management and representation for combat athletes.

This began over 10 years ago with a MMA promotion called Iowa Challenge, started in 1997 by Chad Bergmeier. Since then, Chad has promoted or co-promoted over 200 successful shows including Iowa Challenge and many other promotions like Extreme Challenge, Revolution Cage Fighting, Royalty Fight Night, Courage Fighting Championships, and more. Although he started as a promoter, the lack of professional management in the emerging sport combined with constant inquiries led him to representing fighters.

In early 2006, Chad entered into a partnership with Monte Cox, one of the top promoters and fighter managers in MMA. This partnership allowed Chad to leave his 'day job' and work full-time promoting shows and managing his growing team of fighters.

This website went live in July 2006 as a vehicle to promote shows and gain attention for the fighters.
Since then, Midwestfights.com management team fighters have fought around the world in shows as big as UFC, PRIDE, WEC, King Of The Cage, IFC, IFL, and dozens more. This site continues to be about the fighters we represent and has been reworked to reflect the commitment to our fighters.

The site is designed and maintained by P.J. Stoppleworth. The voice of Iowa Challenge, P.J. works as one of the main cage announcers for Extreme Challenge and insists on plugging his own website, Pugnavox.com, a one-stop shop media production solution for MMA.
